Become a NextGen Ambassador

Represent NextGen in your region, help host events, and welcome new members.

Ambassadors

Advocacy Efforts

NextGen Leaders understand the importance of developing relationships with local, state and national legislators and taking steps throughout the year to spread the word about the importance of advocacy and legislative efforts in our industry.  That's why NextGen Leaders: 

  • Collect PAC Donations for the Big I Michigan Agent PAC (state PAC and for Big I National's InsurPAC.
  • Distributes information and legislative resources at many of their events.
  • Sends NextGen representatives to the Big I National Legislative Conference and meets with legislators on Capitol Hill to discuss issues important to our industry.
  • Joins Big I Michigan Leadership in Lansing to participate in the association's Agent Legislative Day and visits with legislators.

NextGen Leaders of Michigan is providing two $1,000 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year to college students pursuing careers in the independent agency system.
