Your company creates a short video highlighting your solution, and Big I Michigan helps put that content in front of agents through social media promotion leading up to GLAD and exposure during the GLAD program on November 3.

How the Tech Spotlight Works

Create Your Video Produce a 3–5 minute video that introduces and demonstrates your technology, product or solution.

Send It to Big I Michigan Submit your completed Tech Spotlight video according to the specifications and deadline provided to participating sponsors.

Build Awareness Before GLAD Big I Michigan will use Tech Spotlight content on its social media channels leading up to the event.

What Should Your Video Include?
Your Tech Spotlight is your opportunity to give agents a quick, meaningful look at what your solution actually does.
Consider Featuring:
- A demonstration of your product, platform or technology
- A walkthrough of a specific feature or workflow
- A real-world example of how an agency could use your solution
- A before-and-after look at a process your technology improves
- A customer success story or independent agency use case
- A look at how your solution saves time or reduces manual work
- Ways your technology improves the client or employee experience
Keep It Focused
A strong Tech Spotlight should quickly answer three questions:
What problem does your solution solve?
How does it work?
Why should an independent agency care?
Video Guidelines
Tech Spotlight videos should be short, useful and engaging. Think demonstration rather than traditional commercial.
- Video length should be between 3 and 5 minutes.
- Focus on a technology, platform, product or solution relevant to independent insurance agencies.
- Show practical applications whenever possible.
- Keep company introductions and background information brief.
- Clearly identify the problem your solution addresses.
- Demonstrate how the technology works or how an agency could use it.
- Keep the video educational and solution-focused rather than creating a traditional sales commercial.

Tech Spotlight vs. GLAD Educational Sessions
The Tech Spotlight is a sponsor promotional opportunity and is separate from GLAD's educational programming.
Educational sessions and breakout presentations are selected independently through Big I Michigan's programming process. Purchasing a Premier sponsorship does not provide an educational speaking session.
The Tech Spotlight gives Premier sponsors a different opportunity: use video to demonstrate a specific solution and get it in front of the GLAD audience both before and during the event.
