The Capital Area Independent Insurance Agents (CAIIA) brings together area independent agents, company and vendor friends to share ideas, provide a platform for local insurance programming and continuing education, and to pursue community charitable endeavors as a group.

There is no better organization to build and nurture a base of peer relationships with fellow agents and those in surrounding businesses that support our industry.

Quarterly meetings at Reno's East (East Lansing) may center around one of the following:

  • Guest speakers discussing timely industry news
  • State or local legislative representatives working on issues of interest to agents, their businesses and the clients they serve
  • Topical insurance professional development programming, often including continuing education credit
  • Charity work and event organizing
