C813 CIC Personal Lines
Date: August 14 — 16, 2013
Location: Lexington Lansing Hotel-Lansing

To earn your CIC designation, you must attend five intensive three-day institutes and pass comprehensive essay exams which immediately follow. All institutes must be completed within a five-year period. You are then required to attend either one regular institute or a Ruble Seminar (offered to only CICs) each year thereafter. Registration is $415 without CE and $435 with CE.


Personal Lines
This institute addresses the unique insurance coverage needs of individuals, Families, and family members.  You will learn to handle the complexities of state-specific personal lines forms.

  • Catastrophe/Earthquake/Flood
  • Wind Pools

Participants will:

  • Complete an in-depth study of the ISO Homeowner Policy with emphasis on the HO3 form.
  • Better understand the application of coverage’s of a personal auto policy.
  • Obtain an overview of personal umbrella/excess liability coverage’s including underlying limits and self-insured retention.

*Mandatory topics are part of every institute. Optional subjects vary.
