Alyssa Bellinger

Alyssa is a Performance Consultant with Dale Carnegie. She has a BA in Communications and over 8 years of experience as a certified trainer and coach. Alyssa has worked with a wide range of industries from hospitality to manufacturing to insurance. She is certified to teach leadership, change management, employee engagement, and time management.


Aleks SilvaAleks Silva

Aleks is a Performance Consultant with Dale Carnegie. He is a leadership speaker for Southwestern Family of Companies and has facilitated goal setting workshops for over 100 sales professionals. He achieved the distinction of Top Salesperson for Globe Life in 2021 and is licensed for accident, life, and health in 6 states. He also holds a BA in Accounting and Finance.


Ethan A. Gross, JD

Ethan A. Gross, JD

Ethan is the Chief Executive Officer of Globe Midwest Adjusters International. He frequently presents on insurance claims issues to professional groups throughout the country and has published several articles on a variety of property insurance claim topics. Before joining Globe Midwest , he worked as an attorney specializing in first party property insurance litigation. Ethan earned a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University in 1989 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Michigan State University College of Law in 1993.


Stuart Dorf, JD

Stuart Dorf, JD

Stuart is Senior Vice President of Business Development/Marketing at Globe Midwest Adjusters International, is a licensed public adjuster and attorney with over 18 years of experience. Stuart frequently presents on insurance claim issues to attorneys, CPA’s, financial advisors and other trusted advisors to property and business owners throughout the country. He has published several articles on a variety of property insurance claim topics. Stuart earned his law degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University.


Dustyne Bryant, MBA, CIC, CISR

Dustyne Bryant, MBA, CIC, CISR

Dustyne is the Personal Lines Academic Director for The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. She has dedicated 15 years to Personal Lines Insurance and has a demonstrated strength in technical comprehension cultivated through working with a vast selection of national, regional, and surplus lines carriers as a licensed agent, account manager, and department leader. Dustyne i graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with her MBA in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, an Associate's in Law Enforcement, and has a certificate in Conflict Mediation. 


Paul Z. Martin, CPCU

Paul Z. Martin, CPCU

Paul is an Academic Director for the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. He works with faculty, agents, and other industry professionals to deliver high quality insurance content and education. During his career, Paul worked as a multi-lines adjuster handling everything from workers compensation claims, to car accidents, to oil well blow outs. He was an underwriter, working on heavy commercial accounts across the Southeastern U.S. He was a company manager at a start-up insurer, and was an independent agency partner in Jackson, Mississippi. Over the past 20+ years, Paul’s strengths as an educator have come from his experience teaching a wide range of industry professionals at every level of experience, from beginners to successful agency principals.

Mac is the Podcast Producer for The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research and oversees the conception, creation, and production of Awkward Insurance, Nat Alliance NOW, and Risk & Reward podcast series’.


Thomas Humphreys, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, CIC

Tom Humphreys, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, CIC

Tom is the director of the Insurance and Risk Management Center at Olivet College. Professor Humphreys also serves as an assistant professor, and is an instructor Big I Michigan's Pre-Licensing school. Prior to joining the Olivet College faculty, Professor Humphreys led a successful career in the insurance industry and served in other insurance teaching capacities. As a principal for Moore Insurance Services, he is also a Big I Michigan member. 


Caryn Bedford

Caryn Bedford, SPHR, CPC

Caryn is Chief Learning and Talent Officer for Big I Michigan. She has over 30 years of experience in the area of human resources, organizational development and employee engagement. Caryn holds a Master’s degree in University Administration with a cognate in Career Development from Michigan State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. She also holds a certificate in Leadership from the University of Michigan. Caryn is a Certified Professional Coach and a Certified DiSC Facilitator.
