a lot of talented players in this state,” said State Tournament Chairman Dan Mercure.

“There’s no doubt that the players representing Michigan will be competitive
at the national tournament. The young players of today just keep getting better
and better. I’m proud to be associated with them and this tournament,” he said.

Special acknowledgement should go to Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company for their generous financial and volunteer support for making this tournament a success. In addition, we appreciate the efforts of MAIA Executive Committee member Greg Rummel for his hard work in assisting with our efforts to work with Frankenmuth Mutual.  The tournament committee is grateful for your support. ■
