Tessa MacGown is the Director of Professional Development at the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) in Lansing, Michigan. For over 13 years, Tessa has held a variety of roles in the insurance industry. Roles included Business Systems Analyst, Quality Analyst, Commercial Lines Underwriter, and Underwriting Staff Specialist.
Tessa has a passion for training and customer service. She believes learning is a lifelong journey not just in formal classrooms, but through relationships as well.
Away from the office, Tessa enjoys spending time with her husband Jonathan and her three children Jake, Emerson, and Nyah. She loves to sing and also enjoys directing the choir at her church.
