Michigan House Insurance Committee Passes HB 4612 to Reform No-Fault

MAIA President Greg Rummel Testifies at No-Fault Reform Hearing
On May 2, following another lengthy day of testimony witnessed by overflow crowds the House Insurance Committee passed HB 4612 by a straight party-line 10 -5 vote to reform Michigan’s no-fault insurance law.  Again, at the invitation of the Committee Chair, MAIA, represented by President Greg Rummel, presented real-life examples of the unaffordability of personal auto insurance today for Michigan consumers. Your MAIA Board, Executive Committee, Young Agents Council, and staff were also in attendance.
